Shirley Temple was a star! The Grand old duke of York I can do the wiggle wobble Kissing in the tree Under the bamboo Inky Pinky Ponky Mother may I Whats the Time Mr Wolf and many many more...
What were some of your favourite games as a child?

we played school most of the time. we even had grade books! we also played a lot of TV tag... otherwise.. the neighbor boys came over and we played baseball in our yard. ... or we'd go to their house and play basketball.. they had a paved full court in their yard!

Does anyone remember barbadoor? I loved playing marbles as well as a kid. But one game my brother and I use to play was Battleship on paper. (This was in the 60's) My younger brother and I have never yet finished a game of Chinese Patience - (normally ended in a scrap). Our last game was five years ago and yes it ended in a very loud discussion. ;D

we played alot of games involving abusive mothers. as in someone is chosen as the mom, and everyone else is her kids, and she's taking us all to the store and tells us to be good and not move, and as soon as she turns her back everyone runs as fast as they can, and she has to catch everyone of us and gives us all a good spanking. lmao i'd like to believe we were all normal children.

I remember that ... We played it with all our cousins in my Grandparent large back yard.... I was the youngest and I remember being slightly terrified by the game... As in ..... The suspense of when my big cousins would finally yell """DINNER TIME""" and come bounding after me. ;D

We used to play a game called: "who could stay quietest the longest". That worked really well, especially in long car trips.
