If the killer had been taught many things including respecting human life and not taking the law into one's own hands or that it's not alright to kill for something as minor as painting his garage door, the boy would still be alive too.

He was charged with manslaughter...for accidentally picking up a knife from his kitchen draw then accidentally running 300 meters down the street, confronting a teenager with the knife with which he accidentally stabbed the teenager to death with and then he accidentally hid the weapon upon returning to his residence. Its shame he didn't accidentally trip over the boy to accidentally check his pulse to see whether he was breathing or not, accidentally apply first aid and then accidentally ring 111 before he hopped into his spa.

Hes a murderer.

How the hell people are allowed to say such things about the dead on public message boards especially major ones I don't know.

Just imagine people from other countries looking at TM. We're right up there for rednecks and racists, no doubt about that.

One thing for sure. It proves that trade me do not moderate their boards at all because if they did they wouldn't allow all that crap.

Something needs to be done about that place.

at the trademe message boards. but I've spent a lot of time on others from all around the world. The devisive talk re race here is disturbing to say the least. I was speaking about this today to a workmate, and apparently it's well known that the trademe boards are are home to some deeply nasty undercurrents. I'm sad to say it seems to be true.

The kid was chased down and killed. How can it possibly be manslaughter? This was a straight out act of revenge, disproportionate to anything that the tagger had done. He was not 'confronted' by the two youths, he went and armed himself, then he went looking for them.

It's not ok to vandalise other people's property.
It's not ok to be a parent and not know where your kids are at 11pm.

But chasing and stabbing a child is in a whole different league.
