I don't think that benefit fraud is rife, you hear about the few who exploit it, you don't hear about the families who struggle to get by on it while trying to get jobs or make a better living for themselves. As for the topic of this thread, it was about a person who can't work due to a disability...anyone of us could be struck down with a debilitating illness or accidental injury...no-one plans for such events but they can happen to anyone. So assistance may be needed.

re caz [Sorry BB, I don't quite understand your last reply.]
Clearly you have a difficulty with comprehension therefore it pointless in repeating the genesis of the issue. I believe your chosen avatar is an indicator where your brain is at. Not a good place but there will always be a place for you on welfare! I'm afraid, bingbong, that while my comprehension skills are quite fine, the same can't be said for your woeful attempt at the written language. Obviously, your opinion of someone is quite easily swayed by something as inconsequential and trivial as the random picture chosen as an avatar, therefore it would in fact be pointless to even bother trying to explain anything to anyone quite so wishy washy as you. Nevermind, I'm sure there will always be a place for you on messageboards.

Caz, You went off topic almost immediately, with hopes of sending this into a beneficiary bashing thread, that was not what this topic was about. I don't think the person who referred to your avatar based his opinion of you on the avatar, but on the nature of your posts which he then recognised as seemingly fitting to the avatar you chose. In other words you come across real bitchy.

re caz23 's comment ["My posts were wholly confined to the topic, until other posters started becoming personal."]
Clearly it is evident that you are unable to attach to feedback or absorb it and make a personal adjustment. I have though and realise that there are those in the world like you, who are unable to stay with the issue, that is fine if that is where you are at. This won't DISQUALIFY YOU for a place on welfare ;D ;D ;D

[re caz23 reply 32 "For fudges sake. Get off the drugs you stupid tart."]
You provide such an INSIGHT into you. Thank you for sharing that. YOU would think the claim re drugs if you are only able to think in that way. I don't though wish to get inside your head as that would possibly be like walking into a dangerous neighbour hood alone.
And the "tart" reference that is the pot calling the kettle black, your avatar. I hope you are not suffering from it is everyone else but yourself syndrome.
People's whose head is like a dangerous neighbour hood are also ENTITLED TO WELFARE ;D ;D ;D

For fudges sake. Get off the drugs you stupid tart. How about you stop living up to your avatar for two minutes and come up with a decent argument. You're making yourself look like a real wally...or should I say wallette. Whatever! you're letting down the sisterhood.

When theres something worth arguing about, with someone who can offer a decent argument. The poor soul boingboing's best offering is to suggest one belongs on welfare if one has an opposing view. And then, wee hps, who clearly has trouble with comprehension, could do no better than to suggest I went "off topic" when clearly, the topic, as such, rates barely a mention in his post. Hypocrite anyone?

Hypocrite anyone? I didn't read bingbong's responses that way, caz23. Hypocrisy appears to be one of those terms which is thrown about so much, people have lost its true meaning. There was no hypocrisy from hps on the deviation from topic, caz23. You were the first (but not the only one) to take this thread off topic.

Some find it hard dragging themselves out of the pit though Lux. Lol I think some days, especially when it's so cold, it's better they stay in there all day. We got our power bill last week and for the first time ever, it was over $200 I think genesis have sneakily put up the charges and not informed us
