My brother's 50th today and my niece rang rang in last night sick so change of venue...my place...so now sitting in my butts being served is not longer an option lol (I'm not good at that anyway) I guess it pots and pans to the ready and where's my onion and garlic perfume...
Have a wonderful safe and peaceful weekend people.

A sad situation, but it's also a good chance to catch up with whanau and friends that you haven't seen for years. One of Grahams cousins who is the current family 'historian' of the Ngai Tahu side, had to be rushed to hospital last week with heart problems. She is fine, but I hope she has someone she is passing on her knowledge to. Would be sad if everything was lost or scattered around. Hey Misi, I'll have it black with 2 sugars please and just half a cup ;D

Kia ora Groovites! How are you? Sorry I've been absent, but thought I'd drop in and say kia ora.
Misi: My daughter is a HUGE Twilight fan. I bought the series and read them so I knew what was going on. I'd completely missed the Twilight hoopla and thoroughly enjoyed the first couple of books. I thought the last one sucked the big kumara, but that's just me! We're all booked to go to New Moon.

Hello Sparrow, good to see you posting again I've seen one of the movies .. has there only been the one up until New Moon? I haven't read any of the books, but they are the sort of book I enjoy, so maybe one day.

There's only been one movie of the series out. The books are an easy read. I liked her writing style. It's quite slow and languid which made it really enjoyable. Great characters in there and I liked the Bella in the books far more than the film version.
