A definite autumnal feel to the air here in the Hutt too.
Good one Misi .. you are back!! I've been reading and enjoying that thread, good to see it's keeping reasonably civilised with not too many acidic personal attacks on you.
Live and let live ... perhaps they should all remember that.

Afternoon groovies .. just been sitting on Petone foreshore having lunch and feeding the seagulls. There are some ominous looking clouds coming up so may be the end of the beautiful weather we have been having.

Im not sure but it seems the weather has vamped itself up again it is soooo hot here
Ive got my fans going full time but in view of the rising power costs I did learn some handy hints from my brother about how to save power
he said if you are cooking on the stove (which we hardly ever do as we have gas elements on the kitchen sink or use the barbacue) turn your water heater off ,..
and also to turn the water cylinder off at night,..then switch it back on in the morning
its not like it has gotten cold that it has to be heated up when its turned back on in the morning
and I will have to make a conscious effort to buy some power saving light bulbs have a good day groovies

Cheers ladies!
My lemonade tree is loaded may have some fruit in its first season, same with the lemon tree. A couple of feijoas managed to avoid the strong winds during Jan, so not expecting a proper crop until next season.
Is it right that plum trees have to be planted when they are dormant? So in Winter?

and also to turn the water cylinder off at night,..then switch it back on in the morning its not like it has gotten cold that it has to be heated up when its turned back on in the morning. i really dont think so misi.i believe that power is cheaper at night. ours is off "all day" and only reheats at night when its on the cheaper night rate.
