Hope a good time (and dinner) was had by all Koko Our weather hasn't been too bad, bit cloudy today and it feels like rain, so not holding my breath for a sunny day. |

It was a lovely family dinner just what he wanted and his niece made the most amusing chocolate I've ever tasted. We laughed and reminisced the kids were cracking up as my brother let some of the cat out of the bag about my childhood...little dear he was lol.
How was your birthday Maire I hope you were spoilt rotten.

Mine was very low key, just as I like it  And just for a change, we have rain. Not certain if I heard the radio report correctly, but Wgtn is headed for the wettest and coolest October on record. |

Is the snow early this year Buck?
There's an overlapping in seasons between the two hemispheres .. someone was saying it was snowing in Upper Hutt yesterday ... only being 15 minutes drive from there, I'm not surprised ... it was really cold all day.
Cloudy out today which is from the south, so could be another cold one ... great, not!!

Turned out okay yesterday and stayed fine for the fireworks .. the Wellington harbour display sounded like it was good show. We could hear the booms from up our end of the valley, but couldn't see it which is a shame. I don't know if my hearing is getting more acute, but they seemed a lot louder this year.
The poor cat was terrified. I found him in a quivering state in a file box under the computer desk.
