Looking good at the moment but even more rain is forecast for later today .. at least with all this rain the Hutt river looks like a river, mostly it's not much more than a wide stream (in most places).

Cheers Koko .. dinner went well, I did a leg of lamb with all the traditional roast veges etc. Bit like the Christmas dinner we never seem to have now .. it's mainly bbqs. As this years one is going to be. Brunch .. eggs benedict, bacon, asparagus and tomatoes followed by sticky toffee pudding. Well that's the plan ;D
Weather is a bit grotty at the moment, but I'm having a do nothing lazy day, so not worried if it rains again.

She's rarely online these days Jadzie, she's really busy with work, family and her new home Blue sky with the odd cloud here and there, but they were tinged with red earlier, so not a good sign .."red in the morning, shepherds warning" means rain is coming. The garden does need watering though, so it's not a bad thing.

Same here Koko. Although it cleared up yesterday and hopefully will today too. Graham not too happy with the weather, the National bowls champs started yesterday and it's not too pleasant playing in the wet windy conditions.

No good Koko, got put out of the pairs yesterday. He's not entered into the others (singles & fours) as he's going over to the States on Saturday for a couple of weeks. It's looking like we are going to have a wonderful sunny day Cold though at the moment and last night, felt almost frosty!!

Summer is definitely bypassing us. Just been talking to my b.i.l and he's really p'd off, too windy & the sea is too rough to take his boat out and it's not looking promising for calmer weather during his off days (he's a chef on the ferry's).
Graham has arrived in LA safely (phew, I was worried) and he said it's warm there, but they fly on to Colorado Springs this pm where it's a very chilly 5 degrees C.

The drizzle stayed off and we raced to 32 then dropped dramatically but last night was a killer 10.00pm 26C.
Today we're looking at 20...translation 25 plus

It's slightly clearer today, the hills aren't shrouded in misty rain. The wind has been a real shocker the last few days, but that seems to have died down now, hopefully it stays that way, my poor tomato plants are getting a real battering. It's not cold though, or too hot (no where near your temps Koko) but it's warm enough for me
