Cooler today which is good want to lay or attempt to lay carpet today. My s-i-l dropped off carpet enough for a 3 bedroom house. She heard I wanted to do the lounge dining room and hallway. She so sweet and she got the colour right woohoo. but no doubt I'll be swearing later when the hammer starts swinging  |

We were supposed to be getting a houselot of carpet through one of G's boxing mates, but haven't heard anything about it (it's been 3 months now), I'm not particularly worried as I like my floorboards and was dreading having new carpets right through the house.
Fantastic weather today, we went for a drive around the bays .. Oriental to Evans Bay and on to Lyall Bay. Should have taken the camera, we would have got some good shots of all the bays and the harbour.

Sun is streaming in through the blinds, but there are also some big dark grey clouds, so not sure what's going to win out today in the weather stakes.

Yesterdays wild skies were followed by galeforce wind through the night .. thought the roof was going to go!!  Much calmer today, just a gentle breeze at the moment. |

It was hideous yesterday, still a breeze I'm keeping mum about the weather in case the weather boogy man realises I'm back at work next week and turns it on just to piss me off. |

Good idea Lux!! I've often found as soon as I make a post about good weather, it turns to custard (the weather ie) .. reverse psychology is needed here me thinks ;D

Hope all is well Koko and you haven't succumbed to a summer bug. Another grey windy day today .. haven't had a lot of sunny days so far this year, but at least it's not cold. Graham landed in Chicago about an hour ago and the city is covered in snow. Next stop Cincinnati and their plane will have just taken off ..keeping fingers etc crossed they have a safe flight.

Everyone must still be on holiday, but the weather goes on and it's still dismal and the worst summer I can ever recall. It was so cold on Saturday, we lit the fire and sat and watched re-runs of Lois & Clark (Superman) all afternoon.
Sunday was better, today not looking too bad, but there is mist rising up from the eastern hills and it's more cloudy than clear.
Graham due home today!!!!!!!!!!

Well we had a whole 4 days of hot, mainly fine weather, but yesterday it was back to the same old rain rain rain ............ but it's great having the man of the house home again |

Turned out hot yesterday and no rain as was forecast by those "experts" who seem to get it wrong more than right.

The harbour and Hutt Valley were in there hidden behind the fog/mist.
It eventually cleared up and we had some fantastic hot sunny days, but back to normal yesterday, cloudy and a few showers and it looks the same today.
