We've had two days of forecast and threatening rain and it finally arrived last night not long after son watered the garden (of course) ;D
Can't have come to much though, the ground is dry again.
Lots of clouds about so could get another shower if the wind stops long enough to let them do their work.

So much for my predictions yesterday, it turned out sunny and warm if a little windy.
It's clear skies out at the moment and the sun is yet to come up over the hill.

Another fab day .. Wellington is putting on a great late summer in autumn. It was hot yesterday too. Graham had an appointment at the sleep clinic and I sat in the car outside Wellington hospital for nearly two hours. Hot sun streaming in the windows with the temp around 27.5 outside, wasn't too pleasant, but I had a good book and 'twas very interesting watching all the different people walking past and all the silly ones coming out for a smoke!!

Hey Maire got a bit of a shock when I saw the hospital nice and new.... It rained this afternoon woohoo So did I. There was some controversy over keeping the main building of the old hospital even suggestions of using just the facade (if I recall), but no, all gone and replaced by nice shiny new buildings. It rained here in the night and doesn't look too promising for a sunny day today, misty rain around the eastern hills.

What a wild and weird afternoon we had yesterday.
I was on the phone to my sis and heard a strange noise and looking out the window you could barely see the sky as there were hundreds of leaves blowing around, the sky went black and the rain, thunder & lightening started. Very scary while it lasted, and I avoided going to the other side of the house to look at the extremely large trees we have. Got a big clean up with all the bits of broken branches etc, but we got off lightly here, some other places weren't so lucky, people lost their roof, power taken out and lots of other problems.
It was a cold night and still very cold this morning .. our lovely Indian summer has definitely up and left (got blown away) ;D

My Camera is on the blink otherwise i would have tried to capture the magic too.

And we had another one almost exactly the same the following night!! It was rather wild in the night/early hours this morning. Rain & wind and it's not looking good for today either, just when we are having a truck load of firewood delivered .. Mr Murphy has been around ;D

Yep here too Koko ... we had our first frost, well a mini frost, the house at the back of us had about a two metre patch on his roof. But it was cold, unpleasantly cold, and after coming home from a shopping trip this PM, we had to light the fire it was so cold inside.
