Public buildings should be kept free of any "symbols of separatism" and not fly the Maori sovereignty flag, New Zealand First leader Winston Peters says.
Mr Peters has entered Manukau City Council's debate on whether anything other than the New Zealand flag and the council flag should fly on its buildings.
Mr Peters said today he had no objection to people flying flags of their choice on private property.
But public buildings "should be kept free of any symbols of separatism," he said.
"My suggestion to local councils is to unit their citizens under the New Zealand flag and leave separatist statements off public structures."
I disagree entirely, for someone with brown skin that fella is so not connected to his roots he's free falling.
I'm thinking unity and equality, that loser has no idea.

His dissing of anything Maori, is not a one off occasion with him, he does it continually.
I've never understood why, but would love to know what motivates
him to act the way he does.

I think he does this to get the Grey power vote.....
But if he ver got into a political position of real power
I have a feeling he would totally change tack.....
One has to give the old devil kudos for staying power though.....

Actually you mentioned that he could be a member of the PIT (hahaha) well last Christmas I think I gave Mr V8 from M2 a membership to Destiny's Church or was it Stormbleater it doesn't matter both of them are @rseholes
