I went to a few Sweetwaters late 70's early 80's and have been to two Glastonbury's, this time we are going to one that has been voted best family festival, has a smaller crowd about 10,000 compared to the 100,000 at Glastonbury.. am very excited aboutit, first one son will have been at (that he remembers as was 15mths old when we took him to Glastonbury lol) so will take earplugs for him lol www.solwayfestival.co.uk/

I really really really wanted to go to sweet waters but I wasn't allowed, my cousin a year older, took my boyfriend and I got to stay home and hate mum and dad and my cousin. The biggest concert I went to was probably Dire straits a crowd of 45,000 at Athletic park Wellington. I actually found that a bit frightening especially the rush into the park. My favorite concerts would have to be a mellow Saturday afternoon with Neil Young, Athletic park and Tracy Chapman at Western Springs. That was a real girly fest went with my gay mates Concerts here were much better when they were outdoors. Have been to one at the Wellington stadium which was ok but was seated. The last concert my partner and I went too, we were the oldies at the back of the crowd with our deck chairs and cuddly rugs, while the kids were right up the front where the action was that was a NZ bands concert in Upper Hutt. We sat there giggling and holding hands and sharing memories, and we delivered a lost child to nice police officer .

I haven't been to any actually. Not really my thing. My youngest brother, and sister, often go to Lowlands which is held here in August, a wee bit south, all kinds of rock artists. Last year they got rained on
