Anyone watch the first episode of the new series? pretty freaky. Poor family I think they'll know who killed their son now. I hope they find some closure now even if the police don't do anything about it. Being a smallish southern town I would suspect everyone has a pretty fair idea about what went down.

That was compelling viewing lux, what a horrible situation. Both the psychics were excellent in my opinion

we have just started the series here I saw in my tv guide. Have only seen a tiny bit as I turned it on too late but looks promising. I've heard the show mentioned before. Its probably the very first series so we'll be quite a bit behind you.

I see this program brought up weekly in TM Opines as being utter crap and yet each week skeptics start a thread about it...truth be known they are just as fascinated as I am.

I don't watch it! I'm watching Outrageous Fortune instead ... The Adventures of the Wests out in, um, the West.

Hi Yollie, Its interesting that you get a NZ series over in the Netherlands we do get the occasional NZ series or film or artist/group (like Whale rider - good movie that!), and of course Crowded House. I find NZ-ers to be good actors. We also get loads of Aussie shows, like Mac Cleods daughters (although of course we are way behind with that, and on summer break now).

Last night's episode was a repeat - Girl in the ditch. The case itself raised a lot of issues, especially in terms of the dysfunction in the big blue family 's initial attitude. Sad.

It most certainly did, I remember at the time the whole damn thing just didn't add up, and having discussions about it with colleagues, made me more angry than sad. To think that not one damn police officer found that a drowned girl in a ditch with her pants on inside out, and bare from the waist up with injuries around her neck, was not at all suspicious...someone needed to give the bastards a clue. The investigative journalist said it all really...if that had been a white blue eyed blond headed 12 year old, they would have gone to the ends of the earth to get to the bottom of it...basically they didn't give a shite.
