When cows attack By LISA SLOAN - Central Leader | Wednesday, 20 August 2008 STROPPY COW: Ted Walker feared for his life during an attack by a cow in Cornwall Park that left him with a broken arm and extensive bruising. He wants to warn others of the danger. A jogger feared for his life during an attack by a cow in a popular Auckland park that left him with a broken arm and extensive bruising. A morning run through the farm at Cornwall Park, on One Tree Hill, has been part of Ted Walker's routine for almost 15 years. But the Greenlane resident never expected to be attacked by a full-grown cow. kkk out in the paddock today was she? ;D

Hey on the subject of cows, while down in HB I learned what veal is made of, and I learned what farmers do with their bobby calves. Put me off veal forever!!! Eeeeeeeeeeeek
But I still love a good steak anyday!! (Yeah, yeah I know - silly logic) lol

So sorry to hear that bottlecar .. your daughter must have been devastated I know the message is late, sorry .. I keep missing threads and really should use the facility for the Most Recent ones. Re eating veal, we never had it when I was growing up. Mum grew up on farms and seeing and hearing the calves 'screaming' for their mums when they were taken away, completely put her off it for life.
