I would think that being known as birds of peace and serenity ,..it would work out to be a nice blessing
otherwise you must have some spring offerings on your roof somewhere that they like
love doves Beautiful birds,.
one is spoken of as coming down out of heaven when Jesus Christ was baptized,..it depicted Gods holy spirit and it showed his approval of the Man Jesus Christ!!

Yes I'm with Misilon on this one ....
Doves are portrayed as bringing good tidings, blessings and so forth. As in the Bible, Noah first sent out a black Raven - it did not return. Hence ravens are often seen in a negative sense & used as the devils pet in movies etc (hype drama really). Whereas the Dove returned to the ark baring a small branch off a tree, a sign that the waters were indeed receding and new life was sprouting on the Earth. And again another scripture as Misilon points out - of the Dove descending upon Christ after John the Baptist had baptised him. It depends on what you believe.
Of course its all up to your own perspectives and beliefs Koko. I tend to bear in mind, that if the Dove is seen as a good sign in the Bible and I see them or they are around my home, my dreams, or my family - then I choose to believe that it is for a good reason. And I am blessed in all things, but something truly special is taking place or is about to happen in my life, my family, my home etc.
I used to have 2 Doves hover over my home (about 10yrs ago now) in Hastings, HB - for months. And I'd walk to the shopping center, and I swear the same two Doves would be sitting atop the supermarket when I walked out, and then they'd follow me home!!! To this day I don't know what they wanted, or why there were around me, but I found a sense of peace & comfort whenever I saw them. Been many years since I've seen one. Life must be good (lol).
Some Maori tribes believe a bird flying inside ones home is a bad omen, portends imminent death/injury/sickness of the oneself or family.
I, however, was raised Tainui (King Country) and we are taught a bird coming into your whare is a blessing, of good travels or travellers. You are going to get visitors in your home you have not seen for a long time. And I assure you, every single time I have a bird fly into my home - this is exactly what happens. I actually put the kettle on, have the biscuits or maori bread sitting on the table & a pot of boil up brewing, when my 'unexpected' visitor turns up!!! lol
And of course, setting religious or tribal beliefs aside. You could just have some lovely tasty morsels sitting in your rain guttering and roof that the birds enjoy!
