I was really appalled to watch a segment on CNN referring to a black woman voting for Obama as a moocher...
The woman said "I'm so excited I thought this day would never come...I won't have to worry about paying for petrol and my mortgage...if I help him, he'll help me"
This was interpreted by the reporter as "This woman expects free petrol and a free mortgage if Obama makes President"
The Newsreader asked the reporter if this is indicative of the types of people who are voting for Obama, to which she basically replied yes.
Ugh There is no way I would have interpreted the woman's statement that way!
This was followed by a story of 'Black Panthers' intimidating white voters at polling booth.
The video showed two black men in black clothing standing outside a polling booth on the sidewalk, they didn't appear to be doing anything untoward, a white woman strolled out of the doors behind them chatting on a cellphone she didn't appear to be looking intimidated. Another white guy was off to the side of the camera but you could only see him side on.
