------- as in goddess of grain and fertility. Don't read too much into it as I am really a two bit gardener who tries to live by organic principles. I am green without being too green, left without being too left and feet up at home surfing the net after having had some of my parts tinkered with.
I am a Mum of three with a nice partner who puts up with my ways. I love cooking and food and wine in general, I make jewellery, paint and write for pleasure.

No you're right I am demented, ask anyone.
You have a whinge section? ha ha, I have nothing to complain about at this point in time as my Aunt is bringing Chinese over and I just got some nice big Xmas presents from Ireland by courier.

Hello all, I feel welcome and look forward to coming in here and reading about what Kiwis and others are doing. On the presents, I had a good squeeze, mine felt soft, I imagined silk underwear, but it might be a stuffed leprechaun

Me too sparrow, though I doubt it, from the husband's sister. More like a couple of shamrock tea towels. Lovely whatever - I shall be grateful, pressies are pressies.

Thanks Yollie, Holland, one of my favourite places, very hospitable and warm people there as I recall.

Come on in, here have a beer - none of that toshy cosmopolitan stuff, put your feet up, no no no leave your socks on! help yourself to the platter of just cooked whitebait fritters, and lets sit back - chillax - and watch the rest of the day f@ck itself up, and laugh maniacally about it!!! hehehe
Cheers & good to see a 'new' face about the block!
