LOL. Very good. I can't wait to see the back of him. He's a failure in every sense of the word.

Happy day. Perhaps it should be declared an international day of celebration.

You can say this about most politicians in general Naki. (Sorry, I had edit this post as I forgot to add "Naki" who I was referring to in the first sentence of my post) What about Democrat Governor Blagojevich facing impeachment now? The Democrat politicians in Illinois seem as corrupt as can be with past and shady links to Barack. There's no smoke without fire.

I thought the District Attorney's office said that there was no link between Obama and Blagojevich in this impeachment? To be honest, I think Blagojevich pales in comparison to what Bush has done. He was a failure in every sense of the word. He had the world's goodwill after September 11 and he squandered it, got America into two unwinnable campaigns (unless he wants to nuke them and he doesn't because it "costs" too much) that affects their aura of invincibility as the world's super power, has patronised his father's friends in terms of "favours", and absolutely destroyed their economy under his watch (when he took office, Clinton left him with a surplus). Bush has made the world unsafer with his actions and quite frankly, I couldn't wait to see the back of him.

I had to Google Blagojevich to find out some details......It would be interesting to look beyond Bush's war crimes and see how many times he has abused his position on the petty scale levelled at Blagojevich. Here's a useful guide to the Blagojevich case for thjose who've not heard of it. www.msnbc.msn.com/id/28582066/Summary from my perspective......it's not a trial, it's a political powerplay.

I agree, Naki, but Blagojevich has been dodgy. The main ramifications will be if this affects Obama. The District Attorney's office (the guy I saw on the news) took great pains to say there were no links to Obama and Blagojevich. This case would be interesting if it came out later in Obama's presidency, but as it was under Dubya's watch, I think the damage (assuming Blagojevich is done like a dog's dinner) will be mitigated.

My view is that there is never a good enough excuse to start a war, it can always be avoided if good men decide that together. There is so much that goes on behind the scenes with Politicians that we will never know about, I don't trust them at all. Too many have to sell their souls to stay in the job and the man in the street never wins. Fixed: Sparrow.

Darn, I seemed to have lost my reply to you Sparrow in that quote above, it's the last 2 paragraphs. My server went on the blink and I lost the connection, how annoying is that?
