Is being repeated from Season 1 on the Box, Sky TV. They're up to Season 2 now and I'm really enjoying it. Loved it when it first showed and am finding it pretty good the second time around. Our lad is watching it and pretty into it. He's only allowed to watch it on repeat in the day time though. Lol. Our daughter is scared of the theme music!
Anyone else into it or used to be?

P.S. I watched the second X-Files movie and that was okay-ish. Probably pretty much for the fans, but it was a monster of the week X-Files mystery - as opposed to the alien myth arc.

I watched an episode last week[?] Mulder[sp again] was a security guard. I lost interest in the original after it was returned to a late night spot and I thought it was a rerun, so didn't bother watching it. By the time I realised it wasn't, I had missed too many episodes.
Up until that happened it was one of my favourites .. but must admit Lux, Scully used to annoy me too with her scepticism.
I've been watching Stargate lately Sparrow and enjoying it. They are episodes we never got on TVNZ.

Hey Maire - so have we! Never watched it and then started to watch the reruns on the Box and liked it. Our lad likes it HEAPS so we kind of started watching it with him.
Haha on Scully. I loved the chemistry between them and how Scully would cling to logic like a religion in the face of Mulder's strong belief in "belief". There are some interesting things on rerun that I didn't pick up in the first one. I have to say I was a bit biased toward Mulder, but on replay, you can see that you made "assumptions" about stuff which just wasn't there. Very clever.

I obviously missed out a lot as I got quite a surprise to see he had left the FBI. Same for Stargate .. Richard Dean Anderson was still in it when I last saw it on tvnz. Now he has been replaced, his replacement is not bad either ;D I also want to see how they connect Stargate to Stargate Atlantis .. I missed that too!!! Was it even screened here in NZ? I got the feeling tvnz programmers were not SF fans as they seemed to wipe a lot of the good shows. Another favourite that I got out of the habit of watching was the Others. Missed a couple of seasons of that one, so if it comes up on the Box, I'll be watching that too |
