Is it okay to have green finger nails? I like rich strong colours for nailpolish, blue, black, purple, green, dark reds and browns. ...what colour nail polish do you like? PS...I love your smilies!

I think so. Why not? I like reds, pinks or clear on my nails. I have been known to where blues etc, but I'm pretty conservative that way. I remember my niece having these fantastic colours: silver, black and bronze on her nails. It looked fantastic.

I have very long nails at the moment ,..hard as
sometimes its a niusance because they slip on the keys as I type ,..which means I have to backtrack often
I like reds the darker the better and I will always wear a top coat to make it last a lot longer well,..a week at least ,..after washing dishes so often
In saying that I have so many colours on my drawer I buy them at the $2.00 shop
and so many ladies have a great time with them while theyre here as do my girls
I will always buy what I wear from loreal quik dry!!

Two weeks ago I had gold on my finger nails and purple on my toes. All the gold , plus the grown fingernails have all gone, broken off as they are weak/brittle .. but the color=Purple]purple[/color]toenails are still there.

Yep, long nails look great, but they can get in the way and I agree, the top coat makes all the difference for lasting longer I dont have my nails overly long, just long enough to look nice...if they get too long I tend to scratch everyone, including myself...lol...ow!

My last nail polish purchase was a couple of bottles of black - but for bottom part of daughters marching boots I thought *yuck* who would want to paint their nails black ....... BUT a couple of days later I saw a friend with a pair of open toed sandles on and black toenail polish - it looked sooooooo classy. Anyway my last toe nail polish was bronze to match the henna on my feet and hands. The hands faded in a couple of weeks but my feet lasted for ages.

I find the strong colours can discolour you're nails, so I use an undercoat so that when I remove them my nails don't look yellow. Yuck yuck ;D

Seen a few weddings lately where the bridesmaids wore black and their nails and toenails were painted to match their dresses. They looked gorgeous. Black seems to be the "in" colour right now.

A really good friend of mine was married in black and the bridesmaid wore the same colour. The groomsmen were in white. This was back in the late 70's so I'm showing my age. lol and to top it off the were married in a cemetery off over grandparent's grave. I had very odd mates back then.

Or you're mother's wishes for you not to marry in black Maire. The same weddings I mentioned where their colour theme was black and white had their wedding photos (some of them at least) in black and white and they looked awesome. The backdrops were industrial, huge blocks of concrete and another photo was taken from the balcony, all the people were below and everybody was in black and white and the only 2 in colour were the bridal couple. Stunning photos.

Can never make my mind up between purple and pink so I alternate them every week LOL When our daughter was about 3 she painted her daddys toenails under the table (pink I think). He went to work, all macho, had a shower, was getting dressed and a mate noticed his toenails and asked what it was. Daddy just said nail polish of course. I'm a lumberjack and I'm ok etc.
