Shoot up at a skate park in Blenheim

Blenheim police are hunting for a woman who shot at a group of children who were playing at a local skatepark.
One of the children was hit in the back with enough force to draw blood, while a second pellet narrowly missed the head of another person.
Witnesses have told police four people arrived at the Horton Street skatepark in an old hatchback yesterday afternoon, then a woman jumped out and began firing shots from a BB gun. Six children fled from the area.
Constable Michelle Stagg says police are very keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the shooting, or has information about the offenders.

Disgusting...what's happening to our babies? Another youth embroiled in a gang dispute up north was fatality run over in anger. freaking crazy. I suppose this highlights what the police are up against - the other side of the coin.
