about JW funerals. My brother and mother became JWs about 5 years ago. I am a heathen (not officially of course but you know what I mean ). Mum lives with us and I was wondering without being morbid what her being JW will mean when she passes on (hopefully in many many years). I asked her but she didn't really know. Do you have the service at the Kingdom Hall, and then the washing over the board somewhere else? Mum has many children, grandchildren and greatgrandchildren as well as friends - do we all go to the Kingdom Hall if that's where the service is? I don't really know if there is a service!? Does mum get to choose any songs and stuff like that? I could ask my sister in law who has been a JW for longer but it's hard to ask, I feel morbid talking about it. Any info you can share would be appreciated.
