Hello...I looked in the avatar library and chose this one. I'm pretty sure someone else has it but if you ever watch the Anime style programmes, the whole 'family' usually looks quite similar...although various rainbow shades of hair seem an important feature. Think of me as your Anime 'sister' or 'twin' or possibly even a 'twist in the plot' . My kids are into these cartoons, they grew up with Pokemon , Sakura, Dragon Ball Z and others... It's certainly an interesting style of drawing but just sometimes it looks a bit funny, like the kids show where no one has a nose...thats been perplexing us

Yeah and how all the girls seem to be stick figures with unusually long legs? Or maybe I'm just jealous? Who knows. Great choice, fonchen. I like anime but yeah ... the whole no nose thing is a bit creepy.
P.S. Our kids are into this stuff too. They go off it for awhile and then it all comes back with a vengeance.

I have to admit I've never liked those Japanese drawings, it's a bit on the freaky side.

Anime .. I was looking for desktop wallpaper once and clicked on Anime and what came up was semi porn pics. When I first saw the cartoon programs being called that, I thought, what the ? I realised I must have clicked either above or below Anime on that site .. or is there two meanings for it? I've never been game enough to go back and have another look, Graham might wonder what I'm into to if he is looking for something in History ;D

As for the cartoons, I'm an oldfashioned cartoon girl, when those ones started, I lost interest, so did my youngest.

lol Maire, I check the history on my comp just to make sure the lads are behaving themselves so far so good. I Like the current cartoons, as a kid could never really get into the Disney mickey mouse etc toons.

I use History to open up other sites eg, I just used it to load the seagull pic onto Tinypic then here. I don't know of any other way to open 2 or more sites without the first one closing. If there is a way, I'd love to learn it

I know what you mean about the unusually long legs, Sparrow, made more noticeable by the seeming obligatory sailor costume or schoolgirl outfit. I think this style has quite a following with adults (not just the costumes...lol.) but theres comics, conventions and movies.

I have to admit I've never liked those Japanese drawings, it's a bit on the freaky side. I agree, Cailz...it is an odd looking style...but it grew on me. I also think the 'Emo' look has it's roots with the Anime style, The hairdo's...the skinny leg jeans...theres just something about it that says 'Anime'.

Cheers for that Fonchen, I'm not very clued up on expressions etc in use today. Lol have just remembered an occasion when one of my young nieces had to explain to me what one "naughty" expression meant. I thought then, the young seem to learn more a lot more quickly every generation.

Another recall .. the word manga is one that is used in a game I have on the computer, Kyodai Mahjong. Pictures of manga girls are on the side of the board, but those ones are fully clothed ;D
