I haven't really thought about it...and anyway what more could he want he has me  We're both kinda spontaneous anyway don't conform too much to the whole hype of it. |

It's not something either myself or husband have ever really acknowledged.
I do remember one year I cut out a heartshape from a piece of red vinyl and wrote on it .. "Tomatoes are red, lettuce is green, You are my king and I am your queen" and put it in one of his sandwiches.
I would have loved to have seen the expression on his face when he opened up the sandwich to see what he'd bitten. When he came in after work, he had a big silly grin, so the message was a success ;D

my 17yr old said No One said anything to her as well so we're both having a giggle

happy valintines day misilon (there you go,somebody has said it to you) i hope everybody had a great day. As i am rostered off today (and for the next two days) I took my wife out for a coffee when she finished work and i cooked dinner and cleaned up afterwards.

It's only 1 day out of 365 to show you care, and I don't mind celebrating it as my motto is "life's too short" to quibble about whether it's commercialised or not. He loved his special cake (sugar-free german choc cake) and he surprised me today with 3 chocolate roses (3 stands for "I love you" which was our saying since we started going together many many moons ago) and a box of that ferro rocher choccies. |
