The people turned out in force too, and international journalists to get NZ's indigenous culture out there around the world. It is a huge if not the biggest tourism draw card we have.

Tumeke! Also watched some of Wellingtons Pacific Islands festival on Tangata Pacifica, that was pretty cool too. It was so funny there were some gorgeous little girls kanikani in the front row of a performance and I think one accidentally hit the one next to her, and that started a slap for slap reaction, they were just babies, but neither one looked like they were going to give up the last slap.
