Scruffy or anyone else who knows about these things .. would it be better to get a genuine battery for my sons laptop, or would a 'generic' brand as sold on TM be just as good? TIA  |

Hi Marie The one's off TM are just as good, I have replaced mine from Laptop Universe www.laptopuniverse.co.nz/ and they supply original battery's at decent prices. I recommend them, and you get a warranty with there batts. Note they sell through tm as well as their store direct |

Thanks scruffy. I'm annoyed I missed out on one at a really good price last week. I've seen a few on TM one in ChCh and one in Auckland but after reading the feedback on one of them, it put me off. Will look at the link above ... cheers |
