Mmmm 1968 is far too long ago to remember how I spent the $13 I got in my 1st pay packet. Although I do remember paying $3 board and I did go out to dances, buy clothes & perfume & other girlie stuff

It was 1984 and I was working a holiday job in Queenstown, which was good money for a 15 year old lol. I think my first pay was about $150 which I proudly put in the bank!!!
By the second week, I was buying clothes, LP's (Dance Exponents) and I think that was about the time I took up smoking as well lol

Lol dropping names now are we In that case, I'll add my claim to fame story I used to hang out with the Fourmyula. Most of you young ones probably don't remember them, they sung Nature which you still hear occasionally, it won best NZ song ever, a few years back (if I remember right). And it was used on a milk advert [?] a few years back. They came from my home town and we went to their band practises, all the dances they played at and it was the reason I left college. I needed money to do all this clubbing

I did post something else about Jordan Luck but thought so I deleted it. ;D Ah yes the clubbing and the concerts...which were outdoors, back in MY day, and were very cool!
