ive just figured out, that you dont actually need a tm account to buy stuff on tm.generally, unless your buying from one of the tm general hanwringers,9 times out of 10,you can find a phone number or email(somewhere) to buy directly. the last 3 or 4 things that ive brought through tm,ive purchased this way...just rang them up and made an offer that i am happy to pay and we both are happy lol only problem was that today i found a log grapple for 500 start and 1000 buynow,so i went directly with an offer of 800 which he accepted happily, plus "he through in a $500 rotator" for free,....i went to get it this arvo and bugger me days, when i got home after payng for it...some other bugger has now bid 500 bucks on it ill go see him again tomorrow,i think.

Hehehe, I like the way you think. Hope the private trade goes through okay lol in my very first two 2 or 3 weeks selling on tm,i sold around $6000 worth of gates...yet tm saw fit to disable my account...lmao not for fee avoidance....it was for "boasting about fee avoidance".... eventually they let me back on,but without mb privledges... pmsl...ive avoided farking thousands over the years in my selling. by the way...the grapple trade was perfect...seller very happy and im even happier with my purchase.i went and saw the guy again today to get some hydraulic hoses and i mentioned "the bid" his reply was "our internet isnt working today,so i dont really give a fark"

oh well...it now seems that tm dont want our business anymore.they have mucked around with the way the site fits on our screen, apparently to make way for more advertising down the sides. i have to scroll sideways to view listings properly now....farking idiots!!!! im pleased i pay them "nothing" now days.

Yeah I dont feel that TM buzz anymore as they are just money grabbers and if people can think of others ways to evade and trade go for it I say.
I am not into the father of the TM founders that sold out he seems to know everything about economics especially after the event and he a knows it all and with all that TM $$$$$$$.$$ plus he could have established a consumer finance alert page.
I think he is to busy on his solex bike going into "poor" countries establishing little enterprises so people remain near the gutter but not much further from. He unlike Madonna or Angie and Pit haven't bought home some living orphans yet!!!!!

hehe,i used to play the rules in my favour.if someone that id traded with before was showing interest in my "made to order" listings,id phone them and do the biz outside trademe. your not allowed to trade with friends or family and everyone i trade with,i classify as a friend. one time,i had a guy that id traded with before ask me for a quote.lol,i told him in question and answer that it was against tm rules for us to trade again as i already knew him, therefore,i wasnt prepared to trade via the site.i explained how id lost his number,so if he still has mine, could he please ph me...he did...no fees on that sale imagine if the tm general hanwringers had of seen that
