I won an auction earlier today and for the first time, I haven't received the usual email from TM regarding payment instructions. Is this quite normal, or should I start worrying that I'm going to have my first dodgy trade? If so, I'm going to be really annoyed, I got a bargain with the purchase and it's a book I've been after for months (2nd one in two days, I won an auction for a book that I've been looking for, for ages a couple of days ago).

payment details usually only come through quickly if the seller sets them to "automatic". dont worry, not everyone is at the computer as often as us and therefore can take a while till theyre sent check in your "won items" on tm.im sure that a copy will be there (if seller has sent it) even if the emails arent getting to you. good luck and dont blardy panic

Or she could just be away, or has a life, or I could learn to be a little more patient ;D Hehehe I realised that after thinking about it for a while ... dodgy was the wrong word ;D ;D And thanks but no thanks re the bank details, unless you have a copy of the book then that would be cool

Contact made, but only after I emailed them. There is still no payment instructions in TM, maybe they haven't got that set up at all.

There is still no payment instructions in TM, maybe they haven't got that set up at all. i see no real need to use the tm generated emails.the only advantage that i can see is that if they are sent, but there are email problems, then you can still access that info via tm. lets face it...if the trade turns to poo, then even with the info being on tms server...tm will not help you anyway.they cant. sure, some of the large sellers have to use the tm system to keep track.very impersonal as far as im concerned, hence i never buy from high volume/very high fb sellers.

That's true, cheers for your input punga, I'm not a big trader and have never got into the selling side, so am still a newbie when it comes to that side. And it was the first time I've come across that so it threw me a bit, but all's well, got the item and trade is completed
