New ealand has complete control over this situation selling fat and edible dripping to Tonga who are in the throws of a diabetic epidemic.
A couple of years ago I attended a seminar whih addressed the problem, the Tongan Government have been quite vocal about getting rid of New Zealand imports of nasty unhealthy foods which are rejected by kiwis...only to be told they have a binding trades agreement with New Zealand of which they cannot break.... SHAME on New Zealand... and feeder in TM opines needs to get his facts straight. Tongans buy that crap because they can afford it and it has almost become part of the staple diet because it is affordable, not because Tongans like to eat crap.
