It has been lovely for two weeks now, no rain, no wind. And today because we have a friend staying for the weekend, its persisting down!!! We have had flash flooding in our street, and whats peeved me off even more, was that I was out shopping when it started and I had a line full of washing lol Shall be sinking a few of these tonight I think!! this weekend is like a long lost reunion! The Kiwi we have staying is a guy John worked with in Napier, and we havent seen each other for nearly 9 years!

its not too bad here actually although we had some rain this morning. Its a bit variable, rain one minute, nice the next. I hope it stays dry over the weekend as I am going on a sailing instruction weekend (Saturday and Sunday). Back home Sunday at 5 p.m., and then off to the airport at midnight to pick up my daughter!! Luckily I have next week off work, it will be nice to sleep in an chill out with my daughter after 10 days away!

we had a great weekend up here very hot and sunny on saturday for the local gala and very hot for our cycling.. but for the last 2 days or 3 it hasn't stopped raining and turned chilly, even put the heating on tonight! but in my little 3sq miles we haven't had any major flooding just a bit down by the local supermarket lol although other parts of Yorkshire haven't faired so well..

9.15 a.m. here and it has just started peeing down. I'm off in about 15 minutes for a sailing weekend, so I hope we will have dry weather during the sailing!! (its okay if it rains when we inside, lol) Well I've got my rain gear along anyway.
