And the judge found them not guilty even tho they confessed and said that the girl " probably agreed to have sex with all of them"... WHAT AN OUTRAGE!!!

Agree this is an outrageous decision by the judge and also her superiors reaction. I fail to see the ethics of this judge, actually I do see her ethics she's a racist. Had the girls been a palagi (pakeha/European) you can guarantee the decision would have been significantly different. Anyone guilty of rape should especially of a minor should be freaking castrated.

Not only shocking but a strangely unjustifiable outcome. My thoughts on the matter, outrage the mainstream, which in turn brings about harsher sentences all round on indigenous crime? I otherwise don't get it.
It's not a matter of whether 'a ten year old girl' agreed to it or not...statutory rape, it is illegal regardless. Bloody disgusting.

The judge looks stupid....the rapists were all young and pathetic....and the man who was older should is a sick ass hole ..... all of them are disgusting. What 10year probably gives consent? It's those 9 offenders who give out messages that make their race look so wrong and yet not all are. I'm disgusted in the verdict...it's so wrong.

It lessens and cheapens the right of an indigenous 10 year old girl over that of a 'normal' 10 year old. It is so sad becasue to me underlying the judge's decision is the belief that the girl is worthless and bad.

It totally negates the whole Mainstream Australia catch phrase 'Wiping out sex crimes against indigenous children' Though I never did think the 'raids' had anything to do with the children.
