Real high temps today folks - all of 14 degrees,
with lots of flecks of blue skies peeking out thru puffy grey clouds!
With a bit of luck, one might just be able to don their trusty fur lined
bikini and go for a quick dip in the ocean?! @@ lol

No frost, no drowning in the pool got the cough but not not the cough cough oink oink one. Probably going swimming in the front yard - flooded after last night's heavy down pour

We are going to batten down the hatches here, the weather report for the weekend for Coromandel is kaka.
Have power and internet on the job site now, but heading back into town soon.
Looks like a wet, windy, and boring weekend, won't even be able to go out for a fish.

Sounds a bit ominous kina, hope you're all cosy and warm and safe.
My friends daughter should have flown in from CHCH at 1 o'clock this afternoon but my friend was still at the airport at 3 waiting for her to arrive apparently big delays due to weather in CHCH. It wasn't too bad here today but looks as though we're in for some more rough stuff.

Went out this morning to watch dawn rising ..
looks like its gonna be another nice day here in
Tauranga today - 4th of July! Woop woop pull out the fireworks .....
oh yeah, thats right they only celebrate that in the States huh? lol
Took some beaut photos this morning, here's one to whet your
weather appetites! hehehe 
No enhancements, except camera is set to 'high colour' as
I sometimes find 'natural colour' setting a bit too bland, or flat.
All I've done basically is reduced the size cos otherwise its just
too damn big for your screens! lol ... Photo taken across the road
from my house, nice huh? So very lucky I know!

Beautiful Misti ... apart from the sunrise aspect, it reminded me of the Pauahatanui inlet when I drove round there last week. The water was like a mirror.
I wish we had some sun to report here, but it looks like another wet grey miserable day .. great.

Same here Koko another bleak cold damp windless day ....... hurry up summer, our firewood is getting low and I doubt anyone will have any dry wood at the moment.

I have your gorgeous picture as my background on work comp and a couple of people have recognised the location misstique At the moment I'm just looking out the window and there are about a dozen guys re-roofing the building next door, haven't spotted any candy yet though LOLOLOL. Man, I need to get to work. Its kinda overcast, kinda gloomy but sun trying to get through, its meant to be a nice day today. |

Yep thats a carpark going out the front, also getting 3 clip on theatres and work being done in the old clock tower building and F block, not sure whats going in there, but they're stripping everything down at the moment.

Both the theatres and the car parking will be welcomed by everyone, staff and visitors. Weatherwise, another horrible cold wet day. Had to go to the Warehouse to stock up on firelogs to supplement our not so dry firewood. |

Good Morning Sunshines!
It was raining here (Tauranga) a little bit yesterday,
doesn't look like any rain today but its colder than a
witches tit this morning! 
Lux - photo is taken from Tauranga side looking across
the Waimapu Estuary towards Matapihi. You're the third
person I know personally that is now using that very same
photo as their computer background! lol ... One of my FB friends
offered to buy the original shot off me??!!
All I said was "wow really?!" hahahaha
Maire - yes I knew of Cacteurs latest hip ventures. He's all good,
I check his wall daily, and leave him msgs and stuff. I'm off to
see if I can get some morning photos, gonna drive over towards
Welcome Bay way. Gonna go to see someone at the Bay Of
Plenty Times to see if they may be interested in any of my
photos .... cos I literally have hundreds!!! lol
I'd love to get paid for doing something I really love -
my photography or my writing .. or hey BOTH!!! hahhaha ;D

Another beautiful pic Misti and yes you should do something with them, they really are a pleasure to view. Perhaps you could sell them as desktop wallpaper or screensavers? Hone's activities show up on my wall with some comments & I see yours at times. I must have done something in my setup as a lot of other friends comments etc don't show up .. it's really weird ... but in saying that, I have been going onto FB mainly to play Bejewelled and don't get around to socialising .. naughty I know, but I am addicted to the game  ;D I don't know if I should even bother with the weather situation here, it's just a repeat of all the recent yesterdays  |
