I am busy cooking the food for my baby's birthday party tomorrow. He was 6 on Tuesday. I have cocktail sausages in the oven at the moment, and have sausage rolls to cook as well, then party bags to organise tonight, and 48 rolls to butter and fill, cucumbers and tomatoes to cut in the morning!!
At the moment I am meant to be at his school sports day, but thankfully it was cancelled cos we had a downpour earlier!!
It is my oldest's school fayre today as well and they have had to cut it down in size and hold it in school hall cos of the weather!! I dont think I'll be going to that!

hahaha Ive just realised that my c0ck tail sausages actually reads as roostertail sausages!!
Well they're done, saussy rolls nearly done, kids have been fed, and I have sent hubby to the shop to find fruit puffs and coconut so can make a lolly cake (for the grown ups) in the morning!
At the moment things are going smoothly and I shouldnt be sitting on my AZZ at the computer lol

I wondered what they were and was going to ask you Bron ;D ;D Hope the party went well ..... and the kids all had a good time and mum wasn't too frazzled   ;D   I used to go all out with the kids parties but stopped doing the full on theme parties when mine got to about 13 years old. Lots of fun though and the kids got a lot of enjoyment.

Well I was shattered Saturday night, but it all went ok!! Weather was horrendous and some of the kids didnt bother turning up, so lots of food left over! Sam had a great time. Back to normal today, my birthday this week then thats all of us til November! I get some peace now!! My older 2 have already asked if they can have a party but they dont want a disco they want to go to a play place, and thats fine by me  |

I'm glad I don't have the parties anymore either Maire. I stopped when they went to high school, the youngest has been there for two years. It was mostly good fun though. I think girls are fussier though. Everything has to be just so!!
