i'm a kid who listens to what her parents used to listen to... if that makes any sense... I don't have any of my own children yet... but i'm pretty sure they'll be mondo hippies just like me!

Yeah ours do (well most of it). I've introduced them to some "old school" stuff and they've liked it.

My kids are listening to their own choice of music nowadays, but we have family music, like Christmas time we play our carols and Christmas music, and we also all love our Tui Teka music and our traditional Maori songs, best of all we have karaoke which although the kids tell me to be quiet, I know deep down they love listening to me sing! LOLOLOL.

My 16 year old currently listens to Led Zepplin, Jimi Hendrix and the Doors he's a bass player. I have four children who have been subjected to my taste of music over the years and some of it has rubbed off on them.

my parents subjected me to their taste in music for my entire childhood... and I loved it! there are four of us... and of course, when a lot of songs mom and dad used to listen to with us come on... we all sing... but other than me... the girls all listen to newer stuff. just the other night, my brother-in-law was listening to my ipod... and he told me i'm weird. LoL. (what's wrong with the beatles, followed by da muzicanz? I don't think there's an issue... LoL I'm sure john lennon liked to gyrate. LMFAO)

Mine listen to mine which is mainly Solid Gold music from the 60s & 70s and I listen to theirs, which is anything from heavy metal to techno to classical (the youngest sons latest, I get it endlessly, enjoyable though).
