Joesph Doke

Hi all!
Anybody out there know of Joseph J Doke?
He wrote the first biography of Gandhi (in South Africa, around 1909 or so).
He was a priest and had worked in New Zealand before going out to South Africa.
In NZ he drew cartoons for some newspaper. (I suppose a net search will reveal the name of the paper)
If anyone were to locate those cartoons and put them together in book form, she would make quite a name (and a packet!).

Are you looking for more information or making a suggestion to write a book with all his cartoons. It's probably already been done anyway. But good luck in what you are doing.

I was hoping to get someone in NZ interested because that is where the newspaper files would be.
No, bb, it's not been done yet I think.
