Female aphids can produce a 'copy' of themselves, this is called parthenogenesis.

Yes, Its a very ambiguous question, fishmuff, but there are a number of strange facts about reproduction cycle of aphids. Maire has given a correct answer but there are others, so I'll leave this one up for a while

Correct: Maire and here is something I found on the net:
Aphids are born pregnant without the benefit of sex. Aphids can give birth 10 days after being born themselves.

Well we have two correct answers here, technically the correct answer is Perry Como in 1958 - Although there were earlier publicity stunts involving records sprayed with gold lacquer, the actual award recognized today as a Gold Record was first awarded to Perry Como in 1958 for his recording of "Catch a Falling Star".
Then theres this excerp from the link given by fishmuffagain - Glen Miller started his own group in 1937, and it quickly became the most popular band in the country. In 1940 alone, the Glenn Miller Orchestra recorded 45 songs that made it into the top-seller charts - a record that still stands. The band was awarded the first-ever gold record in 1942 for selling more than 1 million copies of their hit "Chattanooga Choo-Choo." Other hit tunes included "Tuxedo Junction," "American Patrol," and "In The Mood."
Which was the answer given by terauparaha first.
So based on all of that; 2 pts for terauparaha, 2 pts for misilon, and 1 pt for fishmuffagain for providing that link.
