what I found are plural, South Sandwich Islands, a British overseas territory in the southern Atlantic Ocean, east southeast of the Falkland islands.

Ahhh got it.... well I found it too in my atlas.... I had goggled but that was for some restaurant in Cuba. Oh and Hawaii was named Sandwich Is. But yes yes yes Yollie is right on that one. 56S 25W just to be accurate. Thank goodness for Atlas where would I be without one.....Aotearoa.
