I have changed the avatar function in 'modify' user profile.

You will now be able to view a gallery of avatars, if you click on one of those then it will become yours in your mini user box in the sidebar when you are participating in the forum.

Takes a wee time to load, if it is too much of a problem and you would rather have the drop down menu without the images, please make the suggestion in the suggestion box board.

Also, more than one member can obtain the same avatar from the menu, though message board etiquette would suggest that once an avatar has been chosen then it is no longer available.

There is also the option of uploading your own avatar.
