for two weeks this Friday!! We'll be leaving very early (like 3.30 a.m. ) for a looong drive down. Staying over one night on the way in a hotel, and arriving some time on Saturday. We are going with another family, both staying in our own chalet. The weather down there at the moment is fantastic, much better than the rain and wind that we have here at the moment!!

Thanks you guys! Well I finished work yesterday, so now I have to get stuck into doing the laundry, and packing our gear etc.
Sure Lux, I'll make a detour down your way first, lol.

I don't know if there is another thread for this Yollie, but as it was from here you departed for France, I'll welcome you back here Hope you had a super groovy time and are nicely tanned and rested up. Good to see you back and in good cheer
I see from a thread elsewhere, there has been a heatwave in Greece which has caused quite a few deaths I'm really happy it didn't happen while your daughter was over there. You would have been one very worried mother.

Thank you maire, yes we had a great time, it was lovely weather while we were there. Not so great after we left, although it appears to have gone back up over 30 again today.
I sure am glad my daughter wasn't there during a heatwave, as its usually well over 40 C then. I wouldn't mind a wee heatwave here atm as we have been having lots of rain and only around 20 C. Doesn't look like improving soon either.
I'll put up some pics in the photo section when I've got them sorted out.
