On 4th October we are away for 4 nights to a place called Dorset. Its only about 1 1/2 hours from here but at least its AWAY lol!! This is the area we will be in ........ www.lymeregis.com/main.htmWe are staying at a 'hi de hi' holiday camp in a static caravan. My boys are sooooooooooo excited about going fossil hunting on the beach, they dont care about anything else!! Will report backwith loads of photos lol |

I've seen Lymeregis on Escape to the Country Bron, it looks a cool place to visit.
Exciting for the boys too, hope they find some fossils.
Have a super time ...... and take heaps of photos, so us armchair travellers can share the holiday ;D ;D

I so love beaches.....any beach is awesome. I hope you so enjoy yourself and your kids have a great time. I will look forward to the pics.....

Well we are finally away on Thursday!! Had to postpone last time due to hubby and too much blardy work!! But I have put my foot down this time and he is coming lol. There are 2 big firework displays that we will be able to watch this time as well

Good stuff rdsmum, nice to get away from the routines of everyday life now and then. Haven't really thought about guy fawkes - I hate it LOL. But we usually hit Petone beach on the night and watch thousands of dollars of other peoples fireworks go off...that sorta makes me smile. Not a great fan of the noisy ones and I've never lit any fireworks myself. There was talk of banning fireworks here in favour of public displays only - don't know when thats going to happen but its talked about every year.
