I think she asked for double that maire, might have been more. I watched a doco about her years ago I think the writing was on the wall, shady background that one.

She wanted four times more than what she got. I have read the whole judgement and man does that judge slam her. She really isn't a nice person at all. On a related site to the judgement, was the pictures of her doing porn. She is a real sleaze. macca musta been crazy or something.

He was still grieving for her when he was married to Mills. It's all in the judgement. She is in a fantasy world of her own...according to the judge.

I've just read most of the judgement. Heather got her backside handed to her in that document. Silly woman. She should have got a solicitor, but I think it is symptomatic of her ego-mania and attention seeking that she wanted to represent herself. Paul comes off as having class and dignity, whereas Heather comes off as a lying, fantasy deluded freak. Then again ... no surprise there!

It was rather a good read, wasn't it? No wonder the english despise her, I think I would be tempted to move or look the other way if she came near me. Not that she would be after my money, because I only have debts to offer! LOL

It was quite a good read, but it was also cringe inducing! You have to wonder about someone's self-perception when they think they can possibly lie their way into a huge divorce settlement by exaggerating their own importance?
One of the sad things here is the very qualities that have made her succeed (i.e. being bolshy, confident, steely, determined etc) have been the things that have undone her.
As said earlier: Paul what were you thinking? She gives a new meaning to the term "high maintenance".

Poor Macca. Like buying a Maserati sight unseen, to find out it has a fibreglass body, and one of the wheels is missing. And the gearbox is stuffed, the block is Japanese, and the tyres are imported from China. Nothing like it was portrayed to be.

According to that judgement though, Paul spent a considerable amount of time easing into the relationship with Heather because of its volatility (I think it's on about page 10). He kind of knew (partially) what he was getting into. 3 and a 1/2 years is a long courtship these days. It's ample time to back out too. |

Heather looks like Paul's type though and I can imagine she could be very charming, lively etc to a recently widowed man trying to get over his wife of 30 years.
