The situation over there is looking pretty grim. We're lucky to live where we do.

I saw on the news the other day, that Mugabe says only God can take him down! What a nutter man. He reckons that God appointed him in power, so only God can take it all away from him. He aint movin.

Thats an option
Divine intervention would also be good lets hope he's tempting fate.
Good tactical move by the leader of the opposition he opened up a can of worms and forced the international political community to acknowledge the plight of his people. Lets hope they walk the talk, enough of the lip service time for action.

He's a terrorist why can't GB bomb him out? All part of a bigger scheme of things...in the movies someone powerful would just send in the SS and assassinate him.

Mugabe is an absolute and utter pig. It is amazing what we let go in this world.
I read Mandela came out against Mugabe's leadership. Good on him. That's why he's a statesman and others are just pretenders.
The UN needs to do something here, but I doubt they will.

Interesting yes, I think though that with the event of globalization that there are powers out there who need to pull finger and not just point finger at Zimbabwe's immediate neighbours, these events are so frustrating when citizens get caught up in the aftermath of power crazed lunatics and the whole world gets to view the atrocities via satellite.
And yet we all sit here twiddling our thumbs and paying our taxes, what can we do? What can the international community do? Embargoes would see hundreds of thousands of the already starved pay the price. Unitied Nations forces have a terrifying track record, Rwanda for example.
Major power USA doesn't appear to want to interfer with this particular terrorist.
I'm at a loss really, I just wish Rambo was real.

It's China and Russia who use their veto powers on the UN - so as not to do something. China has been providing arms in Africa and Russia doesn't like people interfering in other countries sovereignty.
