Lol. ;D I don't know if they're hobbies, but they are work: I put all the kids arts and crafts in books. I'm about to make handmade tiles for fun (or not fun if they turn out bad!). Talking on the phone is a particularly good hobby of mine ...

I make cards using different techniques, embroidering, 3D, stickers.
Also love embroidering but haven't had time to do anything for ages. And I used to knit a lot, in fact I used to do a lot more handiwork than I do now. Sewing (clothes) as well.
About the only time I really have is when I make time to go to a crafts class on Tuesday evenings with my mother. We get to try out different techniques, but also just work on my cards.

[glow=red,2,300]HOBBIES ... [/glow]
Reading, Writing, Photography, Internet surfing, Graphics, Scrapbooking, Beachcombing, Walks, Teddy bears, Badminton, Studying Tai Chi, Yoga, Roadtrips, Collecting garage sale junk! .... Karaoke Princess
I enjoy allowing my creative juices to flow artistically, like writing - I have a novel in me somewhere! lol Have attempted to write short stories, but really only write to unleash all that unwanted tension & baggage over life & trials. Never bothered to try & get anything published. Probably never will. Have recited my stories to family, friends, church groups over the years. Seems ... my writing tends to move people to tears! whether thats in mirth or compassion, it matters not to me hehehe
Haven't really had the time or inclination to write anything 'new' the last 2yrs though, been too busy. My ideal is to have a cottage by the sea somewhere (preferably NZ but Aussie will do the trick so long as its somewhere not infested with crocs & snakes!) with a little cottage garden so I can spend my days writing to my hearts content.

I enjoy painting, community helping out, gardening, my wonderful huge family. I have never been blessed with children of my own, but since I was 26 I have been a foster Parent to many a child, we are still very close and are as much family as If I had had them all myself.

I enjoy making soft furnishings for my home and as gifts when I find the time. I practically live at the library, so I always have a good book to read and as I can't afford to buy all the magazines I want, I generally loan them from the library to keep on top of the latest trends or gossip. The latest thing I've mastered, so to speak is making curtains. It gives me such a rush to know I made them from scratch and that my brain still works well enough to know how much fabric to buy and working out measurements.
