Anyone watch Sunday, about the fellow who has taken his family bush, how lucky are they to live so close to nature. The kids looked so healthy I think a lot more people are doing it than most realise.
I agree with what he said about civilisation ruining the world - not that we could all leave our conventional lives to go bush.
and then there was the ad about David Beckem, did I hear right? 50 million dollars for advertising some undies....and yet children in Dafur walk 4 kilometres hungry and sick to get a drop of water.
Its a repulsive world we live in, if you thought about the inequalities everyday, you'd go insane.

A group of us went bush in my late teens for a 6 weeks, lasted two weeks, walked out and waited for the rest. I missed my home comforts like the bathroom. The disparity is repulsive - 50 mill for undies - hungry children

I used to love going camping but I have to admit sleeping on the ground doesn't appeal to me anymore. I think I could go bush if had a comfortable and warm whare. Summer wouldn't be a problem but I think winter in the bush would be pretty longggg.
