Would you support a 'No Gas Day'?

If a large majority of private citizens refused to buy gas for one whole day, what difference could it make? I'm just curious, have heard of people trying to do this but would one day of not buying gas really have an effect?

I think in order for this to have any effect we would need to target one company with a total band including grocery items.
