Dear Colleague, On Monday 19th May 7pm TV3 Campbell Live are presenting an in depth piece about the high rates of preventable disease in NZ children, and how some of these children are permanently damaged. This follows publication two weeks ago of “Left Behind – How social and income inequalities damage New Zealand children” www.cpag.org.nz/resources/ This TV3 programme is a call to the country for more action to stop the preventable damage to our children. We believe that this is a “must watch” for all New Zealanders. I would appreciate it if you would consider passing on this information widely, and through your email networks to people in all walks of life, including business, industry, education, social development, justice and health. Best wishes Innes Professor Innes Asher ONZM Department of Paediatrics: Child and Youth Health Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences The University of Auckland Private Bag 92019 Auckland New Zealand ph +649 3737599 x86734 fax +649 3737486 email mi.asher@auckland.ac.nz websites isaac.auckland.ac.nzwww.cpag.org.nz
