Are the meatworks closing because farmers are looking to take advantage of the free trade agreement, turning to dairy to supply Chinese desire for dairy products? and what about sealord? greater profits to be made sending whole product to China?
yanno we get told support NZ made products, but it looks to me as though the New Zealand traditional foods industry, would see us all starve to make a greater profit.
Thats my opinion!

I agree Lux .. the need for a greater profit, seems to be the priority with the big companies. In true capitalistic fashion, a fair price for the NZ consumer, is not on their priority list.

Agree, I've always brought NZ products, I've never moaned about paying that little extra either but soon I'll be running out of NZ products to buy
