I read about people having their readings done by psychics ,..and, who put quite a lot by what they are being told,
One of the reasons so many have turned to these psychic reading’s is because they have this idea,..that it’s a supplementary religion that stands alongside Christianity.
Psychic reading is a practise of a craft,. it can be like making anything that may fill your needs,.. becoming good at it,.. practice makes ,..well,..perfect!!,..
However as with any hobby or craft it is necessary to control it and not let it control you,..after all that is all it is a hobby or a craft, isn’t it .
Why I say that is, if they were fer real, how come none of them saw September the 11th attacks,..or the war in Afghanistan,..or the economic recession in germany blah blah blah,.!
Even if in rare cases, human predictions come true,. nobody is able to foretell exactly which ones will, There is, however, considerable evidence that to err is profoundly human
they fail miserably in their so called craft of the foretelling of any events good or bad,..
But these people are well practiced in human behaviour, attitudes, and mentality, skills. No wonder they can tickle the superstitious natures of the curious and hungry, for unusual knowledge galore

I think they are more apt at talking about the past rather than the future, though if they plant the right seeds, it becomes a mind over matter thing in my opinion, you can make what is foretold happen if you want to.

I dont believe it is a craft. I have had premonitions and some of them have been events in my life. Some of them have been strong enough to change situations for the better. ESP is something I can relate to but I am still unsure of my gift. It is not evil but something some of us know about and use when we least expect.

lux if you have to make efforts towards what has been revealed to you,..then it isnt the same thing, cos its supposed to happen anyway ,..
What if you had been told something ominously gross,... you dont wanna know,. what then? its still supposed to happen ,..its only in story books and tv,... that one can do somjedthing about reversing matters,.....dunno eh?
because our brain has the equivalent of eternity wrapped up in it,...naturally we have these visionary or premonition inclinations, thats just part of our makeup and if you look around at what gender makes up the majority of psychics its women,....

the most commonly known psychic readings comes in the form of Horoscopes ,...them what fills the magazines,..newspapers etc,..
On a the skin of a spiritualist is a substance called ectoplasm,..it seeps much like an electric mist does from electric wires and substations,..
that substance is in action ,..for the powers that be, of the negative air, that operates thru, to the medium, when the medium is in a trance,..

I did go to a carrot card reader once and she said something about be careful of a person with red hair. I coulant relate to that at the time but did later and was so accurate. I was very careful not to colour the discussion AND I believe if people are not centred in themselves then there is danger there.
I believe there are many levels of reality outside of the psychic zone as known that feeds into awareness through experiences, intituation , feeling and then environment like being able to read the environment for information like some read a paper are all part of the non physical realities etc

True Diana you did not say it was evil but some people do associate such readings as being evil or dealing with unnatural things. It wasn't intended on directing the opinion towards anyone person dear just my own feelings and what some Christians say about those sorts of things.
I have them all the time, and many premonitions have helped with my life and saved my children's lives too. True stories too.

hello bossy I agree that quite a number of people do have those premonitions and that there is a power that is associated with such, in fact a power source to the effect,,..and I dont have a problem with that,....and really it is none of my business
to so many out there who do not have any spiritual leanings(( ahhh so many but not that many to even make a difference really)) it probably sits right alongside the same lines as some one who believe's in a diety anyway
My biff with psychics, spirit mediums,.and such foreteller of events,.. glass ball gazers,.and premonition seers,.. is the claims by some that thier power comes from the God of the bible,..Not so it is a claim that goes deadly against his standards
I called it a craft because witchcraft comes under the same umbrella as the rest, cheers

God had many prophets did he not? Gods Prophets foretold the future, and were premonition seers were they not? God told the Prophets in dreams and their subconsious what was going to happen so they could tell everyone else, so why disbelieve that people today dont have that gift?

What i find bizzare is that according to the bible, you have to rid ourselves of all the foretellers, seers etc as they are evil etc etc, but yet Gods Prophets were exactly this.
History concludes that the catholics in fact created the bible over a hundred years after jesus's death so they could bring order to the chaos they themselves were creating.
It was all about greed, history also tells us that the bible has been changed many times, what what may have been first off may not be this now and for those that follow this are foolish.

Ok Misi - I think this is why I haven't been near a bible in years. I find some written words in conflict with my spiritualism. I was dragged up a catholic but found all teachings irrespective of religious denomination in conflict to practice such as open racism when the bible teaches that we are all equal in the eyes of god. The whole business of 10% of earnings grates me especially when religious groups demand it.
Now I can remember my dear darling mother said there was a section in the bible (I should have paid more attention) that can be used as a horoscope something to do with numbers of the date of birth - numerology comes into play here, should have paid more attention darn it.
Im opened to most religious practise and respect them as individual choice, but I am also aware of the various psychic practises. Apologies for any offence.
