Today it has been raining
The sun has now managed to break through but Its windy and rather chilly! One has to wear a thick woolie or a coat when outside.

Yes its getting quite cold here now too! I haven't had to turn the central heating up yet but it is definitely getting chilly in the evenings, won't be long now I think.
And we have had some showers as well, the leaves are falling from the trees, sigh. Autumn is just around the corner!

Beautiful day yesterday. Had all the doors & windows open and at one point it was 25oC on the deck. Best thing of all about yesterday was the fact we got a new water cylinder and now have hot water.  We've had an ongoing saga with the old one blowing the fuse, the element and it was leaking, resulting in about 3 or 4 days over the last month with no hot water   This has all occurred since we've renovated the bathroom. All is well now though and the kitchen is next on the list ....... just have to start dropping hints  ;D ;D |

The weathers like autumn here But apparently it will a bit warmer and drier this weekend, and then back to miserable on Monday. Maire, we are desperately needing to do the bathroom as well. Have to wait till we get a wee bit saved after all our efforts downstairs, lol. |

  A beautiful morning in the Hutt Valley. Hope it lasts, it is supposed to be cloudy and wet, or so I heard. Yollie I'm really happy with the bathroom even if we've had so many problems with leaks, shocking water pressure (don't know what the plumber did, but he's fixed it now). We also had problems with the fan/light/heater thingy in the ceiling, it stopped working when the duct was attached .... one thing after another, but apart from me finishing painting around the window and door, it's all fixed and working well. I'll take some photos when I get organised.

 Hey Lux, it turned out well though in the end. We are meant to be getting a southerly up here Scruffy, so I guess our lovely weather will return to winterlike conditions too.

its still a bit dark out (7.15 a.m.) so hard to tell!!  We had a gorgeous weekend, yesterday was like summer (22C). But today autumn hits with a vengeance apparently, going down to 15 C and showery. Its still dry at the moment. |
