Same here Buck .. fingers x x x x x for rain in Flagstaff. I've seen pics of the fires in California[?] .. poor people, it must be devastating to lose your home to fire.
Perhaps our rain is heading your way Buck, we've had too much and now need more of the sun and blue skies we have today.

Freezing last night...suns out again today...I think this is the teasing period, when the sun peeks out and then the snow falls down...End of Seept should look more promising.

Morning Groovies!
Weather has been absolutely divine here in Tauranga for days now. Today is beautiful blue skies, warm, great for the washing, y/day there was a slight nippy breeze. The nights are cold though, and first thing in the morning its chilly az, but by 8am the sun is high & everything is toasty warm (lol). Enjoy the week ahead everybody.
Photo I took y/day morning, sun was just at the right height for me to take this shot. Yep thats my hand! lol

The wedding was yesterday and what a fantastic ceremony and reception. Lots of emotional moments and tears and so much love, it was a very special day for both families. There were showers during the day, but they didn't interfere with the wonderful day. My d.i.l has spent time doing aid work in Africa and apparantly if it rains during a wedding ceremony, it is a good omen. My girl and her partner (a wonderful guy even if he is an Aussie ;D) and my absolutely beautiful grandson left this morning so I'm feeling lost and sad. But have very happy memories and lots of photos to keep me going until the next visit

Big bear hugs to you Maire. I've heard that about rain on a wedding day being a good omen.
I called for summer in my last post, well we've kinda getting it but I'm hoping we're not being teased. Expected high 24

It was okay rainy drizzle on Saturday was actually quite invigorating and definitely a sign of new beginnings, warm and fresh it was.

An excellent idea Lux and wish I could, but I've got Kerry home from tech for holidays so don't get much of the peace and quiet required for reading. He/we bought him a new laptop today and we've been setting that up and having a laugh with the webcam on it. It can take photos and he was fiddling around and found he could manipulate them .. pmsl at what he did to his photo, I think the best way to describe it would be an exaggerated conehead ;D
